The invention discloses a structure for connecting a door panel of a side door of an excavator with reinforcing ribs. The structure comprises the vertical reinforcing rib and the transverse reinforcing ribs. The vertical reinforcing rib is vertically arranged at the right side of the side door panel and attached to the inner side of the side door panel. The four edges of the side door panel are all overturned inwards. The two ends of the vertical reinforcing rib abut against and are welded to the overturned edges at the upper end and the lower end of the side door panel. The right ends of the transverse reinforcing ribs abut against the vertical reinforcing rib and are compacted through a right pressing plate and welded to the overturned edge and the pressing plate at the left side of the side door panel.
