The method includes the steps of (1) survey on basic information of to-be-restored eutrophic water; (2) aquatic plant selection: selecting myriophyllum spicatum, hydrilla varticillata, ceratophyllum demersum, vallisneria natans, vallisneria spinulosa, vallisneria denseserrulata, potamogeton wrightii morong and potamogeton maackianus; (3) vegetation restoration method: adopting a water level control and plant disposition combined method to carry out submerged vegetation restoration and water purification; (4) maintenance and management: after restoration of aquatic vegetation, performing simple control in interspecific competition of submerged plants to assure water quality and biodiversity of submerged plants.
