Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a wind power generation device and method using vortexes of cross flow by a cylinder. The device consists of a tower system, a transmission system, a motor and impellers, and is perpendicularly placed in a wind field; the impellers are arranged on a leeward side, wind is blown to a main cylinder of a support frame, a boundary layer is formed on two side walls, and boundary-layer separation is generated behind the main cylinder, so that periodic-alternate-deciduous wake flow vortexes; the rotating directions of the wake flow vortexes on two sides of the main cylinder are opposite, so that the impellers on two sides are respectively pushed to rotate in the reverse directions.
