Emergency call realization method and apparatus

The invention discloses an emergency call realization method and apparatus. With the method and apparatus, problems that the existing VoLTE terminal needs a CSFB falling way to realize emergency call and the time delay is long because of dependence on a relevant positioning system can be solved. The method comprises: when a VoLTE terminal receives an emergency call request sending instruction, terminal position information is obtained by using a built-in rich media communication RCS module; an emergency call request including the terminal position information is sent to a network side, so that the network side enables the VoLTE terminal to be connected to an emergency call receiving center closest to the VoLTE terminal based on the terminal position information. 本发明公开了种紧急呼叫方法和装置，用以解决现有技术中存在的VoLTE终端需要采用CSFB回落方式进行紧急呼叫，并且依赖相关定位系统，导致时延较长的问题。该方法包括：VoLTE终端接收到紧急呼叫请求发送指令时，利用内置的富媒体通信RCS模块获取终端位置信息；向网络侧发送紧急呼叫请求，所述紧急呼叫请求中包括所述终端位置信息，使所述网络侧根据所述终端位置信息将所述VoLTE终端接入距离所述VoLTE终端最近的紧急呼叫受理中心。
