Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a backlight module and a display device with the backlight module. The backlight module comprises a light guide plate and at least two light emitting units, wherein the light guide plate has at least two adjacent projections and gaps; the gaps are positioned among the projections; and the at least two light emitting units are respectively corresponding to the projections. The invention further provides the display device, wherein a display panel is arranged on the backlight module. According to the backlight module and the display device, the light emitting units are respectively corresponding to the projections of the light guide plate, so that the hot spot phenomenon can be reduced.
