Preparation method of bentonite modifier

The invention relates to preparation of a modifier, especially to a preparation method of a bentonite modifier. The method comprises the steps of: (1) acquiring a raw material: mixing hexadecyl tertiary amine with octadecyl tertiary amine in a mass ratio of 1-5:5-8 to obtain a raw material mixture; (2) adding water that is 1-1.5 times the total mass of the raw material mixture into the raw mixture, and performing stirring to obtain a reaction initial solution; (3) adding 55-65DEG C water into the reaction initial solution under stirring, and performing stirring to obtain a reaction solution; and (4) introducing chloromethane into the reaction solution, maintaining the solution temperature at 80-85DEG C, then conducting stirring for 50-75mim, thus obtaining the modifier. The preparation method provided by the invention has the advantages of high yield, fast response, no use of organic solvent, no generation of high COD content wastewater, no environmental pollution, low production cost, and high safety, also s
