Power distribution network based on FTUs and method for diagnosing and isolating faults

The invention discloses a power distribution network based on FTUs and a method for diagnosing and isolating faults. The power distribution network comprises a first transformer station and a second transformer station between which section switches are arranged. Each section switch is equipped with a feeder terminal unit (FTU). The FTUs are connected successively. The initial FTU of the outlet wire of the first transformer station is connected with a main station. The initial FTU of the outlet wire of the second transformer station is connected with the main station. The section switch of the outlet wire of the first transformer station is equipped with a breaker. The operating modes of the FTUs are adjusted in real time by a central processor according to a change of connection point and switches are controlled to be on or off, namely, the cooperation of the initial switch and other section switches to isolate faults with an optimal scheme.
