The invention discloses a steel structure provisional measure latticed column butt junction location device. The device is composed of a device body, wherein the device body comprises cover plates arranged on the top of each stand column, a cross-shaped shear resisting plate is arranged on the upper surface of each cover plate and composed of an isosceles trapezoid plate and right trapezoid plates arranged on the two sides of the isosceles trapezoid plate, and the length of the lower side of each isosceles trapezoid plate is equal to the inner diameter of each stand column. A butt junction location method comprises the steps that the cover plates are arranged on the top of each stand column of a latticed column; the isosceles trapezoid plates are arranged in the middle of each cover plate; the right trapezoid plates are arranged on the two sides of each isosceles trapezoid plate; the latticed column on the upper portion is hoisted; the latticed column is hoisted continuously to a required height to achieve lo
