Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a starting unit (1) for a drive train of a motor vehicle, the starting unit comprising a continuous brake (3) and a switchable, mechanical disengagement clutch (2). The disengagement clutch has at least one starting element (5, 6) which connects a drive side (7) for connection to a driver in the drive train with respective output sides (8, 9) in the engaged state. An output side is arranged in the drive train for coupling to the motor vehicle transmission. In order to provide the starting unit (1) in which an arrangement as compact as possible of the continuous brake (3) is realized, the continuous brake (3) is integrated into the disengage clutch (2) in such a way that the continuous brake (3) is accommodated axially between at least one starting element (5, 6) and at least one operating actuator (10, 11) of the at least one starting element (5, 6).
