The invention discloses a track type travelling vehicle for cable laying, relating to the technical field of cable laying tools. The track type travelling vehicle comprises a vehicle body and a cable fixing buckle; the vehicle body comprises a track and a vehicle frame; the track is a closed annular structure; the vehicle frame is arranged in the track; the vehicle frame comprises an annular support frame, the shape of which is matched with the shape of the track; a driving wheel is arranged at the lower part of the support frame; a support wheel is arranged at the upper part of the support frame; the driving wheel is positioned on the inner wall at the lower side of the track; the support wheel is used for supporting the inner wall at the upper side of the track; the cable fixing buckle is respectively arranged at two sides of the support frame; and, with the help of a motor, the driving wheel moves. A track type structure is adopted in the travelling vehicle; therefore, the travelling vehicle can easily pro
