The invention discloses a fair distribution method for AP downlink resources in a WiFi network. The fair distribution method comprises the following steps: when a beacon is interrupted, an AP polls an STA linked list and calculates service periods needed by STAs, STAs whose service periods are greater than zero are added orderly into TIM fields of a beacon frame, the total sum of the service periods of all STAs are calculated, and downlink information transmission time is fairly distributed by the AP according to time intervals of the beacon frame, the number of STAs which need to send information and the total sum of the service periods.
