Zusammenfassung: | The invention particularly relates to a method of manufacture and a method of use of biochar capable of promoting growth of seedlings in a gleyed rice field.The method of manufacture comprises the steps: 1, chopping and air drying rice husk; 2, subjecting the rice husk treated in step 1 to high-temperature anaerobic combustion at 500-550 DEG C to obtain rice hull biochar.Compared with the prior art, the method of manufacture provided herein can significantly improve a growth environment for roots of seedlings so that the growth and development of seedlings is effectively facilitated; moreover, the manufactured biochar has contents of calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium ions that are respectively 12.35 cmol/kg, 12.86 cmol/kg, 40.34 cmol/kg and 1.83 cmol/kg, and it is possible to well replenish trace elements in soil and improve oxidation-reduction condition of the soil.
