Partial discharge positioning device and method

The invention relates to a partial discharge positioning device. The partial discharge positioning device comprises two directional antennae, a fixed rod and a signal measurement device, wherein the two directional antennae are respectively arranged at two ends of the fixed rod, are electrically connected with the signal measurement device and are used for receiving electromagnetic waves emitted by partial discharging equipment during partial discharging; the signal measurement device is used for displaying time-domain signals of the electromagnetic waves. According to the partial discharge positioning device, only two directional antennae are required, so that the structure is simple; and furthermore, directional antennae are high in gain and large in signal to noise ratio, so that the measurement sensitivity is high.
