The embodiment of the invention provides an electronic load ripple detection device. The device comprises an electronic load which is connected on the bus of an external test power supply of an intelligent electric energy meter; a ripple sampling circuit which is connected with the electronic load and used for acquiring ripple voltage of the external test power supply; an analog-to-digital conversion circuit which is connected with the ripple sampling circuit and used for converting analog voltage of ripple voltage acquired by the ripple sampling circuit into digital voltage; a comparator which is connected with the analog-to-digital conversion circuit and a voltage reference chip and used for comparing the size of digital voltage and the voltage value of the voltage reference chip so as to obtain a comparison result; and a microprocessor which is connected with the comparator and used for receiving the comparison result transmitted by the comparator.
