The invention discloses an adjusting apparatus for separating and engaging gears. The apparatus comprises the following components: a mounting rack, a tooth bar which is slidably arranged on the mounting rack, a gear which is engaged with the tooth bar, a first motor which is fixedly installed on the mounting rack and whose output shaft is fixedly connected to the gear, an installing plate which is fixedly connected to the tooth bar, and a second motor which is fixedly installed on the installing plate, wherein an active gear is fixedly installed on the output shaft of the second motor.
