The method includes the steps of receiving a command of getting into a shade selecting state; covering the displayed icons with semitransparent or transparent shades; recording coordinate points in sliding tracks of a finger on the shades, and pairwise connecting the recorded coordinate points in sequence; hiding the shades, and setting the state of the pictures or the files corresponding to all the icons in a region formed by the recorded coordinate points into the state contrary to the previous state; receiving a deleting command, and deleting all the pictures or the files in the selected state.
