Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a cored wire used for preparing an iron-based coating and a coating preparation method of the cored wire, and belongs to the field of thermal spraying in material processing engineering. The cored wire is composed of, by mass, 17.5%-35.5% of ferroboron powder, 28%-45% of ferroniobium powder, 4%-14% of 75# ferrosilicon powder, 8%-18% of boron carbide powder, 10%-20% of pure chromium powder, 0-5% of electrolytic manganese, 0-8% of pure titanium powder and the balance reduced iron powder. A strip used for a jacket of the cored wire is a 430 stainless steel strip. The cored wire filling rate is 28%-32%. When the iron-based coating with low thermal conductivity is prepared through electric arc spraying, according to a spraying technique, the voltage is 28-34 V, the current is 160-220 A, the spraying distance is 180-220 mm, and the compressed air pressure is 0.4-0.6 MPa.
