The invention provides a spaceborne remote-sensing image compression channel multiplexing system and method. The system comprises a signal gating module, a compression module, a formatting module and a control module, wherein the signal gating module carries out gating on satellite image data or other load data, and sends the data to the compression module; the compression module compresses the satellite load data, and sends a compressed data packet to the formatting module; the formatting module formats data of the compressed data packet generated by the compression module; and the control module emit control signals to the other modules to realize information flow control.
