Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a method for manufacturing a seal apparatus of a sensing element for detecting at least one characteristic of a measuremeng gas in a measurement gas space. The invention is especially used for detecting share of a gas composition or temperature of the measurement gas. The method includes the following steps: providing a ceramic material which at least has borazon and boron trioxide, wherein the boron trioxide has a proportion between 2.0% and 6.0% (weight) with respect to the ceramic material. The ceramic material is molded in press-fit into athe seal apparatus (42,46) and the seal apparatus (42,46) is subjected into heat processing.
