Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a wireless portable biometric device syncing. A notification signal, intended to be received by a wireless communication device, is intermittently broadcast by a portable biometric device that generates biometric data corresponding to activity of an individual bearing the portable biometric device. The notification signal conveys information that identifies the portable biometric device and that indicates whether or not the portable biometric device seeks establishment of a wireless communication link to enable transmission of the biometric data to the wireless communication device.
