File scanning method and terminal

Embodiments of the invention disclose a file scanning method and terminal. The method is applied to the terminal with a display screen, the display screen is provided with a photosensitive strip, and the method comprises the following steps: after starting a screen scanning function, controlling the display screen to display in a full black manner, and a white light band moves back and forth on the display screen; obtaining a reflected light signal reflected by a scanned object by the photosensitive strip; converting the reflected light signal into a digital signal; and converting the digital signal into a target file, wherein the target file is a picture or a text. By implementing the file scanning method and terminal disclosed by the invention, the original file is transmitted to the terminal without being scanned by a scanner and other scanning equipment, so that the equipment cost can be saved, and the file processing efficiency is improved.
