The invention discloses a novel voltage-sharing and arcing ring, which comprises a voltage-sharing ring body, a bracket, a ball, end-capping balls and a clamping plate, wherein the voltage-sharing ring body comprises two ring bodies with circular arc structures; one end of each of the two ring bodies is fixedly connected oppositely; the other ends of the two ring bodies are arranged oppositely; a gap is reserved between the other ends; the bracket is fixed at the bottom part of the voltage-sharing ring body; the end-capping balls are arranged at the ends of the two ring bodies; the ball is arranged at the middle position of the two end-capping balls; the ball is fixed on the bracket; and the clamping plate is fixedly connected with the bracket through bolts.
