Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a photocatalyst-coated body which has an excellent photocatalytic function and is suppressed in appearance change over a long time. Also disclosed is a photocatalyst coating liquid which is used for the purpose of forming the photocatalyst-coated body. The photocatalyst-coated body comprises a photocatalyst layer on the surface of a base, and is characterized in that the photocatalyst layer contains photocatalytic metal oxide particles, silica particles and a dried product of a resin emulsion, and that the silica particles are coated or modified with a substance that has a hydrophobic group. The photocatalyst-coated body is also characterized in that the concentration of the metal element of the photocatalytic metal oxide particles in the outermost layer of the photocatalyst layer is higher than that in the central part of the photocatalyst layer.
