Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides a backlight module and an assembly method thereof and a display device, relates to the technical field of backlight modules, and enables a reduction in the manufacture difficulty of the backlight module and a reduction in the material cost of the backlight module. The backlight module comprises: a fixing frame, a side board thereof being provided with a first opening; an optical component inserted into the fixing frame through the first opening; a light exit also arranged in the fixing frame and facing a light exiting face of the optical component; a seal for sealing the first opening; the optical component is positioned inside the fixing frame by cooperation of the fixing frame with the seal.
