The invention provides a seat and an automobile. The seat comprises a seat body, a height adjusting portion and a safety belt, wherein the seat body comprises a seat back, the height adjusting portion comprises a fixed portion and a stretchable portion which are arranged on the seat body, the safety belt comprises a safety belt body and a winch, one end of the safety belt body is fixed to the seat body, the other end of the safety belt body is connected with the winch, and the stretchable portion can stretch and retract to change the length of the portion, outside the winch, of the safety belt so that the top of the safety belt body in the vertical direction can protrude out of the top of the seat back. By applying the technical scheme, due to the fact that the height adjusting portion is arranged on the seat, the stretchable portion can stretch out of the seat back, one part of the safety belt body can be driven by the stretchable portion to be higher than the seat back, the height of the safety belt on the
