Provided is compression control through amplitude adjustment of a radio-frequency input signal. A power amplifier module can comprise a power amplifier. The power amplifier can comprise a cascade transistor pair. The cascade transistor pair comprises a first transistor and a second transistor. The power amplifier module can comprise a power amplifier bias controller. The power amplifier bias controller can comprise a current comparator, a saturation controller, and a radio-frequency (RF) attenuator. The current comparator can be configured to compare first base current of the first transistor and second base current of the second transistor, so as to obtain a comparison value. The saturation controller can be configured to provide reference signals to the RF attenuator based on the comparison value. The RF attenuator can be configured to change the amplitude of RF input signals provided to the power amplifier at least based on the reference signals.
