Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the gene engineering technology for molecular breeding of animals, in particular to an IGF-1R (insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor) gene related to chicken body size traits and an application technology of the gene. Wuding chickens and Daweishan mini-chickens specific to the Yunnan Province are used as research materials, a C17393427T site located on an intron 2 and significantly related to body size traits of the Daweishan mini-chickens and the Wuding chickens is screened out with a target area deep re-sequencing method in combination with bioinformatics analysis and used as a molecular marker for assisted selection for chicken breeding, the effect of the IGF-1R gene on the body size of poultry is explored through detection of the mRNA expression quantity of the IGF-1R genes in chicken livers and skeletal muscle cells of the Daweishan mini-chickens and the Wuding chickens, and the important science reference is provided for breeding of local chickens in the Yunnan Province.
