Saline land improving method

The invention provides a saline land improving method comprising the following steps of deep ploughing, in which a salt separation layer is formed in a place no less than 40cm under the ground to prevent upward movement of underground water containing high salt content. With the salt separation layer in a deep layer under the saline land ground, upward movement of the underground water can be prevented, so the underground water cannot enter most crop root growth areas while carrying large amount of salt; and economic crops or grains can be planted and the saline land can be gradually improved.
