| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a new method for determining ethanol in expired gas of a driver, water is used as a detection solvent, iodine and sodium iodide are dissolved in water, then an alkaline solution is added to prepare a detection reagent solution, the expired gas is blown in the detection reagent solution by a to-be-tested person, and if the exhaled gas contains ethanol, the ethanol is reacted with iodine in the alkaline detection reagent solution to generate a yellow precipitate insoluble in the detection system to achieve the purpose for detecting whether the exhaled gas contains ethanol or not. The new method has the following advantages: 1) the detection system is simple and sensitive; 2) the detection system is free of heavy metals, and may not pollute the environment. |
