The invention relates to a sealing plug arrangement (1) for sealing a combined filling and venting opening of a rechargeable battery, wherein the sealing plug arrangement (1) has at least one valve part (2), a valve holder (3) and a sealing plug (4), wherein the valve part (2) is arranged on the valve holder (3) and, with the valve holder (3), forms a valve device (16), capable of opening in the event of the application of pressure, for sealing off at least one interior of the rechargeable battery with respect to the surrounding environment, wherein the sealing plug (4) has at least one fastening means (7) for fastening to the filling and venting opening and, at the same time, applies a pretensioning force to the valve part (2) with respect to the valve holder (3), characterized in that the valve holder (3) has at least one protrusion (6) on a surface (5) pointing towards the valve part (2), said protrusion (6) being in the form of a circumferential sealing edge and protruding in the axial direction towards the valve part (2), wherein the valve part (2) rests on said protrusion (6).
