The method comprises following steps: acquiring taking information including taker information or floor information; classifying the taking information and dividing it into at least one class of taking information; according to the classified taking information, screening out at least one advertisement from present advertisements; playing the screened advertisement. The system comprises an information acquisition device, an information processing device and a playing device. The elevator advertisement posting method and system provides advertising videos popular with specific people, providing more targeted advertisement posting, improving the impact of advertisement posting and gaining better promotion for advertisers.
