Zusammenfassung:The present invention discloses a data encryption/decryption method for a storage apparatus. The method comprises: providing an encryption/decryption engine, wherein the encryption/decryption engine is hardware; parsing write instruction information according to a write instruction, and passing write data and the write instruction information to the encryption/decryption engine; and combining a hard disc key and the write instruction information via the encryption/decryption engine so as to encrypt the write data and write the encrypted write data into a storage apparatus through a communication port.
