Garage door

The invention discloses a garage door. The garage door comprises a door frame and a door curtain, wherein the door curtain comprises a drive shaft, connecting shafts, door sheets, reverse rope sheaves and gear devices; elongated slot guide rails allowing vertical motion of the connecting shafts are arranged on two sides of the door frame; the door sheets and the connecting shafts are connected through hinges; the connecting shaft at the uppermost end is fixed at the upper parts of the elongated slot guide rails; the rope sheaves I are mounted on the drive shaft, supported by bearing seats fixed at the tops of the elongated slot guide rails and connected with the gear devices, mounted at the upper parts of the elongated slot guide rails on two sides, through couplings; one end of one gear device is connected with a motor output shaft, two groups of ropes are fixed at each of two ends of the connecting shaft at the bottommost end, one group of ropes is connected with the rope sheaves I on the drive shaft, and the other group of ropes winds around the rope sheaves II at the bottom of the door frame and is connected with the rope sheaves III on the gear device. The garage door has the following advantages: the door opening and closing speed is high, left-right position occupation is not needed, up-down occupied area is small, foreign substances can be prevented from entering a garage, by means of the connecting shafts moving in the elongated slot guide rails, a vehicle can be prevented from breaking through the door sheets of the garage door, and danger is avoided.
