Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a water seal tank and a pyrolytic steel slag pond. The water seal tank comprises a water seal tank body; at least three baffles are arranged along the inner edge of the upper end of the water seal tank; the baffles can be turned over around the inner edge of the upper end of the water seal tank body and are used for shielding the openingof the water seal tank body. The pyrolytic steel slag pond comprises a pyrolytic pond body and a pyrolytic cover, and also comprises the water seal tank, wherein the water seal tank is arranged on the pyrolytic pond body; the pyrolytic cover is used for covering the water seal tank. When slag is turned over and loosened in the pyrolytic pond, the baffles are turned over to shield the opening of the water seal tank body so that high-temperature steel slag is prevented from being sputtered into the water seal tank, and thus generation of a problem such as blasting or explosion is avoided, and relatively good safety is realized.
