The numerical control engraving machine tool comprises a machine tool body, a workbench, a controller, the main shaft frequency converter, a servo drive device, an X-axis servo motor, a Y-axis servo motor, a Z-axis servo motor, a main shaft motor and an external main machine, wherein the workbench is arranged on the machine tool body; the machine tool body is provided with the controller, the main shaft frequency converter, the servo drive device, the X-axis servo motor, the Y-axis servo motor, the Z-axis servo motor and the main shaft motor. A numerical control engraving machine is composed of a computer, an engraving machine controller and an engraving machine body. The working principle is that special engraving software configured inside the computer is used for pattern designing and type setting, the design and type setting information is sent to the engraving machine controller through the computer, and then the information is converted into a pulse signal through the controller, wherein the pulse signal can be used for driving a stepping motor or the servo motors; and engraving feed positioning of X, Y and Z axes on the engraving machine body can be controlled.
