The invention provides an electromagnetic heating method, which comprises the steps of providing a coil panel for heating and a control board used for controlling heating of the coil panel; and introducing a jitter frequency regulation program when the coil panel carries out heating so as to enable the heating frequency of a coil to generate periodic jitter changes within a specific frequency range. The invention further provides an electromagnetic heating electric rice cooker adopting the electromagnetic heating method. The advantages are that a jitter frequency technology is adopted, interference is staggered, the electromagnetic heating electric rice cooker is enabled to pass an EMI test smoothly, filter elements can be reduced, and the cost is saved.
