The method includes the following steps that: gain control words corresponding to the starting and stopping power values of a preset power interval are obtained; computation is performed on the starting and stopping power values and difference values in a preset difference value interval, so that gain control words corresponding to a power value to be calibrated in the preset power interval are obtained; and the gain control words corresponding to the starting and stopping power values in the preset power interval and the gain control words corresponding to the power value to be calibrated in the preset power interval are utilized to perform automatic power control calibration on a mobile terminal. With the method and device adopted, the accuracy of automatic power control calibration can be effectively improved.
