Method and system for correcting gamma curve of display based on color temperature

The invention discloses a method and a system for correcting a gamma curve of a display based on color temperature. The method comprises the following steps: setting a corresponding color coordinate value under different color temperature modes in advance and storing; sending testing signals at different gray levels to the display, thereby acquiring the optical data of the testing signals; judging if the optical data of the testing signals is identical to the preset color coordinate value; if so, storing the current gamma data curve; if no, adjusting and correcting R, G and B values of the gamma curve till the measured value is identical to the preset color coordinate value, and then storing the gamma data curve after being adjusted. According to the method provided by the invention, the gamma curve can be specifically corrected according to different color temperature modes, the color temperature is corrected on the basis of luminance correcting, the color error between gray levels under different color temperature modes is reduced and the display quality of the display is increased.
