The roller chain is provided with an outer chain plate with a connecting pin shaft, a sleeve is connected to the outer chain plate in a sleeving manner, a roller is connected to the sleeve in a sleeving manner, and an inner chain plate is arranged on the roller; and the inner chain plate is fixedly connected with the connecting pin shaft on the outer chain plate through an opening pin. The roller chain is simple in structure, safe, reliable, higher in transmission efficiency, stable in transmission, free of noise, capable of bearing larger impact and small in weight; and the production cost is reduced, and the service life is prolonged.
