Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) composite material, which comprises components with parts by weight: PET resins 54.8-79.6 parts, short glass fibers 10-20 parts, mica powder 10-20 parts, compatilizer 0.1-3 parts, nucleating agents 0.1-0.6 part, antioxidants 0.1-0.6 part, crystallization promoter agents 0.1-1 part, wherein the particle sizes of the mica powder are 300-1500 meshes. The invention further discloses a method for preparing the PET composite material. Compared with the prior art, the PET composite material has excellent mechanical property, high dimensional stability and low linear expansion coefficient, and can meet the appliance demands of vehicle electronic components for sizes and injection molding of package metal inserts.
