The invention discloses a jigsaw. The jigsaw comprises a machine case, a drive motor, a reciprocating lever and a transmission mechanism. The drive motor is provided with an output shaft. The transmission mechanism comprises a first gear and a second gear, wherein the first gear is arranged coaxial with the output shaft, and the second gear is meshed with the first gear. The machine case is fixedly provided with a fixed shaft, the fixed shaft is provided with a bearing, and the second gear is arranged on the bearing. The fixed shaft is provided with a step part which extends in the axial direction and is used for locating the bearing and the second gear, the second gear is provided with a fixed part, the reciprocating lever is provided with a sliding assembly, one end of the fixed part is matched with the sliding assembly, and the fixed part can do reciprocating motion on the sliding assembly. According to the jigsaw, the step part extends in the axial direction of the fixed shaft and can stop the bearing and the second gear in the operation process of the jigsaw so as to protect the bearing and the second gear against axial movement, the abrasion rate between the fixed shaft and the second gear is lowered, and therefore the service life of the jigsaw is prolonged.
