Router and information collection method

The invention provides a router and an information collection method. The router comprises a storage device, a communication module and a controller, wherein the storage device is used for storing a webpage program code corresponding to a graphical user interface, and the webpage program code comprises an information collection program code; the communication module is used for being coupled to a plurality of electronic devices; according to a given webpage requirement received by the communication module from a first electronic device in the electronic devices, the controller is used for enabling the communication module to transmit the webpage program code to the first electronic device; and the information collection program code is used for collecting first environmental information in the first electronic device and transmitting the environmental information of the first electronic device back to the router. According to the invention, the environmental information of the electronic devices can be collected via webpages so as to provide different network settings and/or services.
