Zusammenfassung:	A device (2) supplying an electrical voltage from a battery system (10) includes a series connection composed of a first battery submodule (13) supplying a first battery submodule voltage (UM) and at least one second battery submodule (13') supplying a second battery submodule voltage (UM'), a first voltage conversion module (20) receiving the first battery submodule voltage (UM) and converting the first battery submodule voltage (UM) into an AC output voltage to be supplied to an electrical component (30) connected to the first voltage conversion module (20), and a coupling device (T3) electrically connecting the first voltage conversion module (20) to the first battery submodule (13) and to the at least one second battery submodule (13') such that the first voltage conversion module(20) receives a sum voltage composed of the first battery submodule voltage (UM) and the second battery submodule voltage (UM').
