Apipetting device with a housing refers to a pipetting machine hand comprising a lower housing part and an upper housing part; the lower housing part comprises a housing bottom, a lower back side, a lower front side and a lower side wall; the lower side wall connects the lower front side with the lower back side; the lower housing part can be directly placed on a placing surface, especially a work surface of a table; the upper housing part comprises a housing top, an upper back side, an upper front side, and an upper side wall; the upper side wall connects the upper front side with the upper back side; the housing bottom comprises at least one mounting surface; the pipetting device contained in the housing is placed on the mounting surface; the upper housing part is independent from the pipetting device contained in the lower housing part, and placed on the lower housing part, or can be removed from the lower housing part.
