Zusammenfassung:	The invention discloses fertilizer used for lotus root plantation. The fertilizer is prepared from, by mass, 15-25% of nitrogenous fertilizer, 25-35% of phosphatic fertilizer, 20-30% of potash fertilizer, 10-20% of livestock manure and 5-15% of composted plant straw. One or a mixture of two of chicken manure and duck manure is used as livestock manure. Composted corn straw or composted wheat straw is used as composted plant straw. The prepared method includes the steps that composted plant straw is mixed with nitrogenous fertilizer, phosphatic fertilizer, potash fertilizer and livestock manure after being smashed into powder through a smashing machine, and the mixture is evenly mixed. The fertilizer has the advantage that the increase of the yield of lotus roots is effectively promoted.
