Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a tundish covering agent for non-oriented silicon steel. The tundish covering agent for the non-oriented silicon steel mainly solves the technical problems that an existing tundish covering agent is high in impurity element content, poor in heat preservation performance and difficult to meet continuous casting of the non-oriented silicon steel. According to the technical scheme, the tundish covering agent for the non-oriented silicon steel is prepared from, by weight, 40%-50% of CaO, 15%-25% of SiO2, 5%-8% of Al2O3, 5%-10% OF MgO, 10%-12% of MgCO3, 8%-10% of CaCO3, 2%-5% of CaF2, less than 1% of C, less than 0.06% of Ti, less than 0.01% of P, less than 0.01% of S, 2%-5% of silicon aluminum magnesium powder and the balance unavoidable impurities, wherein the mass ratio of silicon to aluminum to magnesium in the silicon aluminum magnesium powder is 1:2:3. The covering agent is good in heat preservation property and capable of effectively adsorbing mixed impurities and preventing molten steel recarburization and is mainly applied to non-oriented silicon steel production.
