Zusammenfassung:	A polyester film which contains a polyester resin, has retardation (Re) in the in-plane direction of 3000 nm or more, and has a slack amount of 0.5-10 mm inclusive. When incorporated in a liquid crystal display device, the polyester film is capable of suppressing the occurrence of rainbow unevenness in the front direction after a period of time in a high-humidity environment.
