The method comprises the steps that web page data of a web page are obtained; data, expressing the same web page content, in the obtained web page data and previous edition snapshot data of the web page are determined by contrasting the obtained web page data and the previous edition snapshot data of the web page, and the time of the previous edition snapshot data is earlier than that of the obtained web page data; the data, expressing the same web page content, in the obtained web page data are replaced with codes used for marking the data to obtain current edition snapshot data.
