The present invention belongs to a calender for producing photovoltaic glass and a calender roll cooling apparatus of the calender. The calender roll cooling apparatus of the calender for producing the photovoltaic glass comprises a water diversion core arranged in a calender roll, wherein both ends of the water diversion core are provided with end caps; the end caps are provided with water diversion core water outlet tubes; and the water diversion core water outlet tubes are connected with a water outlet-inlet apparatus. The calender roll cooling apparatus also comprises a calender with the cooling apparatus. The water diversion cores separately seals the calender roll into eight water chambers; after water enters into the calender roll and each water chamber is filled up with the water, a problem that no water exists in the upper space of the calender roll is solved, and uniform cooling of the calender roll is ensured. Each water outlet tube is provided with a control valve, so that water temperature of each region can be changed by adjusting the size of the corresponding valve, and therefore, the originally bent part of the calender roll is gradually restored to a normal state.
