The invention discloses a banknote arrangement mechanism which is characterized in that the banknote arrangement mechanism comprises a banknote receiving platform; a sliding rod is arranged between an arrangement plate and a limiting plate; the sliding rod is sleeved with a sliding block; the sliding block is fixedly connected with the arrangement plate; a driving component for driving the sliding block to make reciprocating sliding is arranged on one side of the banknote receiving platform; the limiting plate is arranged on a side opening of the banknote receiving platform; the banknote receiving platform is provided with a swing motor for driving the limiting plate to rotate; and the limiting plate is fixed to an output shaft of the swing motor. When banknotes are sent into the banknote receiving platform on the front side, the swing motor operates to drive the limiting plate to rotate, and the limiting plate closes the side opening of the banknote receiving platform, so that the banknotes are prevented from dropping out of the side opening of the banknote receiving platform; in addition, the driving component can drive the sliding block to make reciprocating sliding on the sliding rod, and thus the sliding block drives the arrangement plate to be close to or far away from the limiting plate to make reciprocating motion; after the banknotes in the banknote receiving platform are patted, the banknotes placed in the banknote receiving platform are arrayed tidily; and the operation is convenient.
